In recent years, the cold storage, which should provide an important guarantee for food safety, has become the initiator of many fire scenes. Accidents occur frequently, and in addition to grief, the safety of cold storage has caused deep thinking. So how should the cold storage operate to ensure safety? 1. Safe operation of the valve The valve should not be damaged when the valve is operating, and the valve core, valve stem, handwheel and valve body should be protected to prevent staggered opening and closing. When operating, operate slowly, and pay attention to the sound of the refrigerant flowing, and it is forbidden to open it violently to prevent liquid shock. The valves on the main line from the compressor to the condenser are open. Various spare valves, refrigerant filling valves, drain valves, etc. should be closed at ordinary times.

Various backup valves, refrigerant filling valves, sewage valves, etc., should be closed or the handwheel should be removed at ordinary times, but the ammonia release valve on the ammonia storage device and the valve handwheel on the emergency ammonia release device should not be removed. 2. Safe operation of filling ammonia refrigerant When filling ammonia, the pressure in the equipment should not exceed 0.2MPa. The amount of refrigerant charged should be strictly controlled, and the weighing data should be recorded. The connection between the ammonia filling station and the tanker or ammonia bottle must be made of seamless steel pipes or rubber pipes with a pressure of more than 3MPa. 3. Safe operation of air release When the non-condensable gas is discharged from the refrigeration system, it must be carried out through the air separator. During operation, the opening degree of the vent valve should be small to prevent a large amount of ammonia leakage, and the liquid supply expansion valve should not be opened too large. 4. Safe operation of oil draining It is strictly forbidden to drain oil directly from the refrigeration equipment, it should be released from the oil collector. In order to improve the oil discharge efficiency and safety, the oil should be discharged when the equipment stops working. During operation, the liquid level of the oil collector should not exceed 70%. The operator should wear rubber gloves and protective glasses, and stand on the side of the oil discharge pipe and upwind. If it is blocked, it is strictly forbidden to pour boiling water on the oil collector to prevent explosion. 5. Safe operation of defrosting In order to prevent the low-pressure and low-temperature pipelines from being affected by pressure fluctuations and temperature changes during defrosting, it is stipulated that the pressure of the hot gas before entering the evaporator shall not exceed 0.6MPa, and it is forbidden to turn down or close the air intake of the condenser The valve method speeds up the defrosting rate. At the same time, it should be noted that water hammer should not occur when the liquid is drained. In severe cases, it will cause the pipeline to rupture and leak ammonia, resulting in an accident. When draining, the ammonia storage capacity of the drainer should not exceed 70%. 6. Safe operation during maintenance When dismantling valves on machinery and equipment and welding and repairing pipeline welds, it is strictly prohibited to carry out in the presence of refrigerant and under pressure; open flames are strictly prohibited in the compressor room and equipment room; attention should be paid to prevent electric shock when overhauling refrigeration equipment Accidents; after the machinery and equipment are overhauled, compressive strength and air tightness tests should be carried out; if pipes are replaced or added, seamless steel pipes that meet the regulations must be used. It is forbidden to stack irrelevant supplies near the machinery and equipment and in the workshop, and all passages are unblocked. The maintenance of pressure vessels and pressure pipelines shall be carried out by qualified units in accordance with relevant national regulations.
